The Drury Club Guestlist
Things are heating up in Covent Garden with the super-hot new private members venue, The Drury Club. Celebs, models, legendary DJs and artists frequent the hip new club that has hosted elite parties for MTV, Wonderland magazine and Bailey of Hollywood. Part 1920s speakeasy and part vintage French boudoir, The Drury Club lures the glitterati with an astonishing Absinthe Fountain, a very special VIP section, a large antler chandelier and fresh, rocking tunes. Whether you just want to enjoy a Friday or Saturday night out with friends, hobnob with celebrities or hear some of the best DJs from around the world, The Drury Club is London’s hottest and most coveted guest list.
Get on the Guestlist
Getting on one of the most exclusive guestlists in town takes a bit of planning and knowing the right people. Fortunately, we at Vesper Black have more than a few special contacts. Since the club is only open on Friday and Saturday nights, be sure to let us know when you plan to be in Covent Garden and how many people will be in your party. Remember, the hottest celebrities and artists drop in to the club frequently so dress on trend and be ready to party.
Atmosphere In the Club
Guests enter the posh new club to a shadowy, speakeasy-like brick corridor and a startling neon “Thrill” sign. The secretive speakeasy decor continues down the stairs and into the sprawling main room. There, brick walls, a large roughened-wood bar and tons of framed picture mirrors add an eclectic vibe. Neon signs are everywhere, proclaiming “Girls, Girls, Girls,” “Player’s Please” and “Rock ‘N Roll.”
The songs and DJs are led by the club’s in-house music director and famous international mix-master DJ Jarren C. Having played live for Russell Simmons, Prince, Kate Moss, the Gorillaz, Jade Jagger and Sir Richard Branson, DJ Jarren C keeps the house pumping with fresh music and danceable mixes.
The VIP Guestlist
If you’re lucky enough to get on the ultra-exclusive VIP member list, The Drury Club gives you entrance to its own private lounge area. A massive, red leather banquet with moody, blue foot-level lighting dominates the VIP lounge area. Silver vintage steamer trunks, industrial metal lights and more mirrors complete the cozy lounge.
Fame Becomes Them
Opening in July 2013, the West End/Covent Garden club quickly caught the attention of London’s best party planners. In its first six months, the club hosted MTV’s launch party for “Brand New For 2014” talent search, a Giorgos Tsalikis concert, a celebration for Camila Carril and a Wonderland magazine and Bailey of Hollywood party that drew the likes of model Bip Ling, Made in Chelsea star Jaime Laing and Family Rain.
